Description/Story:

Alh. Aliyu said, "Your phone call, informing me of Ahmad's death, is what made me faint, but even that is not enough, we need a doctor."

Aunty Maryam (Aysher's mother's sister) said, "By God's grace, their marriage has wonderful things in it, may God grant them health."

The entire group responded with a resounding "ameen" (amen).

They sat in sorrow and mourning, while others stood, all waiting for the doctor to arrive from both sides of Aysher and Ahmad.

Aysher's mother was the first to emerge from the Emergency Department. Alhaji Aliyu approached them. She looked at them with a smile before saying, "Alhamdulillah! She has recovered. By the grace of God, she was not in any trouble. Let's finish the room she is in (she didn't say Aysher's name, knowing that Aysher is her first daughter and the only one she has, a shameful act like a Fulani).

They all headed to Aysher's room. They found her eyes wide open, looking up at the sky. Seeing them enter, she started crying and asked them, "Is Dagaske dead?"

Fatima quickly finished her sentence, grabbing Aysher's hand and saying, "Thank God, I see you're beautiful. Calm down, your husband is alive and well, hurry up and get up, because your husband needs your help."

Aysher was completely embarrassed, covering her face with her hand, which had not been moistened with water. Aunty Maryam smiled and nodded, greeting her. At that, everyone in the room also joined in, saying, "May God bless you."

The nurse quickly got up and said, "Alh. Aliyu has just finished talking to Doctor Ahmad in his room."

The nurses left the room of Baffa Usman, and headed straight to the area where Ahmad was lying. They found the doctor standing in the room, holding Ahmad's head. After them, Alh. Aliyu entered. The doctor looked at them before he began to speak. "Alh. The child is dying and needs your prayers. You should also avoid anything that will cause him to worry, to avoid contracting a serious illness. You are lucky that his blood pressure is normal and he has not increased. Come closer to him. I spoke to him, but he did not answer me.

Alh. Aliyu concluded by saying, "Get up Ahmad, thank God, our prayers have been answered, your wife Aysher is now in the hospital."

Zum6ur Ahmad stood up as if he had been beaten, saying, "Oh my God, Abba, where is Aysher? Who did this to her?"

Alh. Aliyu smiled before saying, "Go back to bed, I hope you are not feeling well. You will be fine if you are not feeling well."

"I'm fine, Abba, I feel better, for God's sake, Abba, let's go and see her."

Alh. Aliyu was about to speak further, but the doctor stopped him and said, "Alh., take him to see her, that will further improve his health, let's go together."

With that, the doctor took Ahmad's hand and they left the room where he was being treated.

The door to the room where Aysher was lying was opened, and Uncle Usman entered first, followed by Alhaji Aliyu, the doctor, and Ahmad.

Ahmad's eyes were fixed on the bed where his wife was lying. He quickly let the doctor finish her bed in a hurry. He grabbed her hand, which had not been given any more water, and said, "I see you, Aysher. Who did this terrible thing to you? I will never forgive you. I have been wronged, we have been wronged."

The doctor greeted the patients with a look, and signaled them with his eyes (meaning to leave the room), and all the patients left one by one.

Ahmad, however, seemed to have forgotten about the other people in the room, only his wife. At this point, the extra water she was given was gone, and Ahmad removed it from her.

He stood her up and sat down, protecting her back with his hand, before saying, "Hello, my love, how are you?"

Aysher kept quiet, he didn't hesitate to ask her again, she cried again in frustration, saying, "I'm sorry, you left me, I'm just sorry you left me since I wasn't with you."

"What are you talking about? Who are the people you're referring to?"

Aunty Maryam's arrival stopped everything and she said, "Abba said come, pack your things, put them in the car, come home, you're dismissed."

Aysher's hand grabbed Ahmad's, as if it was not his fault that the patient was alive in the hands of God. They came out of the hospital compound. Aysher was embarrassed to see their parents' faces in the car, while Ahmad was still in his own. In this way, they ended up in the parking lot, and everyone was allowed to enter. Ahmad made a face, refusing to let go of Aysher's hand until they finished parking the car. Mudansir opened the back door for them and they entered the house where the servant took care of them.

Everyone got into the car and headed to the house of Alh. Aliyu, also known as Abba.
